Lulled by small comforts, disarmed by laziness,
To compare was stupid I thought;
The peak is not my desire, I decided,
And walked merrily around.
Other challenges lay across the path,
And overcoming them I felt proud;
Decided who cares for the peak,
Anyways its warm and sunny down.
And I met people here, lots,
Who shared my dream, my beliefs;
So I decided this was for the best,
And threw away my hiking boots.
Now my heaven is crowded, the water muddled,
The grass all dried, the air stale;
The peak now is farther but bright,
As I set out to look for my hiking boots.
